No book for me! So frustrated!!!!

I cannot get the book. I am so frustrated. I don't have a credit card so can't order it online, and living in New Zealand means it will take forever for it to get to the shops here. Uuughhhh. Sigh. What do I do? Not mentioning I reeeeeaaaallly want some of the work out dvds too, so I am stuck. Argh this is so frustrating!!!

May 11

Got up to feed the boy dogs and ended up chasing off the neighbors dogs again. Came back and went back to bed, but knowing I couldn't get to sleep, I decided to get up and go for a walk. I walked about 50 minutes....that was nine lengths of the driveway and a jaunt down the creek, or about 2.5 miles. It was nice out, but very windy. It was a good start to the day.

Yesterday I began again....I say again because I seem to have lost track of the hundreds of times I have begun to make changes. Attempted to avoid the processed crap that some people call food. I suspect a lot of my failure is not in what I attempt, but in my ability to illicit support from the people in my immediate environment. DR. APPOINTMENT

Went to the Doctors this morning and got on the scale. Guess what, to go along with feeling better and moving better I have lost 7 pounds. Over the last 6 weeks since I last saw him I have lost 7 POUNDS. This is awsome, not only am i eating what I want mainly whole foods, I feel great. Over the last few weeks I had eaten pizza twice, sushi twice, pasta twice and white rice one serving with some stir fry my mom made one night for dinner, of course rice with the sushi and rolls I ate. healthy dinner

It's been a frustrating few days. I had to go today and have my blood work redone because my inr numbers were bad on Wed. I've been taking 5 mg of warfarin since Nov. and now I will be taking 4mg. The doctor says it's because I'm getting healthier. It seems that real food has the vitamins and minerals that my body needs but at the same time these good things react to the warfarin and thins my blood out to much. In one week?!

I reluctantly got on the scale this morning for a little validation... Four more pounds. I have lost a total of 14 pounds! I lost four pounds in ONE week? Here's to breaking through plateaus!

BRAINWASHING

If you all read ASK SUSAN I made a comment about my husband asking if I was being BRAINWASHED. Loved her response. My husband loved it too. He said as long as it wasn't a cult and I was learning things to make me well, then he was all for it. He is interested in getting away from all the junk too. New Routine

I have a new routine! My exercise routine is called Slim in 6 ( I am not buying into the "you'll be thin in 6 weeks" thing) It is a gradual progression to an hour work out. The 1st week is a 24 min cardio/strength. So this week I have been working on that. There is a 14 min stretch routine that I do after the cardio. It is nice.
