Snowmaggedeon 2010..having lean muscle mass rocks!

Snowmaggedeon happened here in the Burgh over the weekend. ..as it did all over the East Coast from what I understand. We lost our power around midnight Friday 02/05/10 and did not get it back until mid Sunday after noon ..and I have an all electric kitchen..so no oven, no stove top..no appliances. After the snow stopped falling on Saturday, my son and I had to shovel snow that was two feet deep out of the driveway! Let me tell you, this is when having Lean Muscle Mass counts. The snow was heavy… Continue

Slowly Healing

Here we are now ,finally on the mend. I have spent this week battling the bronchail issues blessed upon me by the flu last week. I have had huge issues with my asthma that I was told upon diagnoses was mild. Could have fooled me!

My doctor has changed inhaled steriods and I just finished my second round of Predisone. Needless to say,I have not been moving and the only constant in my life right now is my fluid intake.I have not gained any weight in the last two weeks but have not lost e

February 6

Wow! A lot has happened since the last time I was here. I lost my job. :( I am on unemployment and looking for work. I have a call to make on Monday, after I find out whether or not I have to go to jury duty. If I don't have to go, then I may be able to land a part-time job doing pretty much the same thing I did before-- medical data entry.

The weather here is not much fun. This afternoon, I was on my way into town, and I stopped to move some tree parts out of the road. I certainl… Continue

Just some personal stuff.

So, I am moving.
I am divorced, did I tell you all that? Well I am and I am living with my boyfriend going on 6 months.

I have realized something living here in this perfect house with the sweetest most awesome man ever.

I AM NOT A WIFE! I will never be the stereo-typical wife. I do not want to achieve and strive to simply be a wife. Please don't get me wrong I think many woman enjoy it and I know, from my marriage, that it is not the easy road.

I thought all

Seriously

I do not now what is wrong with me! I am working out 3-5x a week now! YAY! But along with that I am eating like there is no tomorrow!

Today, I went to lunch with a couple of my friends. Both of them very thin and taller than me. (Of course I am only 5' 1")

When I got home I felt and still feel horrible about myself! All I could think is "Angela, you need to get serious about your health and wellness"

I feel like digging a hole and jumping in! I wan

I'm looking for some of susan's older videos

I'm looking for some of Susan's older videos. I'm looking for Trailer Park Yoga and Susan's ABS, THIGHS, AND BUTTS on vhs.

I know I haven't posted in awhile. My cousin Penny fell and broke her neck on Nov 10th. She's still alive but is paralized from the diaphram down.

Practicality

So I am sitting here thinking about the practical exercises that I found so useful for my motivation, so I can share them with you.
I had some issues lingering in my life that were taking up room and choking out the growth process and I was tiered of talking, or not talking, about them. I wanted to take action!
I had a friend who had let his backyard grow wild with weeds, branches, and crap. Hmmm I thought to myself, this might be a good idea. So, I asked him If I could clean up his yard and of… Continue

Back to school again

This is the 3rd week in the Spring semester which sounds weird since it's January. Things have been busy, busy, busy with school work. I am however making and finding time to get exercise in. Its not as much as I like but it is helping. If I am sleeping better than I am concentrating better. If I am moving, my clothes fit better and I have more energy to help those I am learning to take care of. Right now it looks like I am leaning towards becoming a labor and delivery nurse. My rotation for tha… Continue
